Info: The 10th Annual Clearwater Beach Taste Fest will be held on Clearwater Beach, named TripAdvisor’s 2019 #1 Beach in America for the second year in a row! Clearwater Beach will host this scrumptious event at the newly renovated and iconic Pier 60 Park from 6-9pm Friday May 3rd. This event will feature tastings from over 30 participating restaurants, wine & craft beer, live entertainment by C’Nergy and Fireworks right after the sun sets.

Friday Nights at the St. Pete Shuffleboard Club
It’s not just for the older generation anymore! Join the fun at the world’s largest shuffleboard club to see why this pastime has regained its popularity in the Sunshine City. Free every Friday night from 7-11 p.m., locals and visitors alike flock to this private recreational club. If you’re not sure how to play, have no fear as volunteers are on hand to give you a lesson or two. Bring your own snacks and beverages – local craft beers tend to be a popular choice. There’s often live music or a DJ on-site to keep you shufflin’. Children are welcome and so are well behaved dogs.
Spring King of the Beach Fishing Tournament
The oldest and richest Kingfish tournament in the United States comes to Madeira Beach twice every year in the Spring & Fall when the Kings are running on Florida’s west coast. If you fish for Smoker Kings, you should be fishing the 26th Annual Old Salt SPRING King of the Beach Kingfish Tournament, happening May 2 – 4. The total purse is $225,000 with 1st place winning $60,000. This 3 day event kicks things off on Thursday with the Captains Meeting and goes through Saturday, when anglers will weigh-in their prize catches and claim their awards. Bring the kids out to the waterfront party on Friday where they can get in on the action during the Kids Fishing Slam!
