??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️I was super excited to meet friends last weekend at the Ceviche Tapas restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg. The first thing that I noticed was the relaxed, laid back but festive atmosphere.

We were greeted promptly and escorted to our seats (by the window with a view).

Ceviche offers Spanish style dishes including salads, appetizers, small plates for sharing, regular entrees and yummy desserts. Click HERE for the menu. They are expecially known for their fruity sangria that is to die for ??!

The service was exceptional and the wait staff attentive as there was never an empty water glass? …. If there was any negative to the evening, it was the effort in talking to my friends because of the loud environment, but Hey…. it was easy to overlook because everything else was near perfect!

If you haven’t been to Ceviche, I would highly recommend a trip to downtown St. Pete to check it out!

??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️One of my everyday go-to meals is Thai food! You can never go wrong with stir fry veggies over rice in a delicious sauce… YUMMY! There are plenty of Thai restaurants around, but one of my favorites is in Clearwater at the corner of McMullen Booth Rd. and Enterprise Road, Thai Spice.??

I typically go there for lunch and their lunch specials include a yummy salad with dressing that is out of this world. It is SO good, that you may even want to sip it like a drink! LOL They also include an egg roll as an appetizer. Their meal items are very well presented which even makes your mouth water more. And, wait for it….. you also good a fried pastry bite for dessert. ALL of this comes with their lunch special at a very reasonable rate.

If you are ever looking for a quick bite for lunch, good service and excellent food, don’t hesitate to pop in Thai Spice in Clearwater! Let me know when you are going, and I will gladly meet you there?

One of my favorite GO-TO’s for delicious FRESH food is Karma Cafe! There is a location in St. Petersburg that opened awhile back and they eventually expanded into the Clearwater area and now have a location at  2095 Drew St unit b, Clearwater, FL 33765.

There food is SO SO fresh and they offer a wide variety of wraps, salads, smoothies, bowls and sandwiches. Check out their menu HERE. They always have a few “sweet” things that are fresh out of the oven to entice you as well for your after meal delight.

The inside dining area is tastefully decorated and makes you feel like you want to snuggle up with a book while you enjoy your meal. There is also outside covered seating as well for those nice sunny days that we have so often in Clearwater.

If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend that you give it a whirl ???????

Do you ever get a craving for an expensive tasting gourmet pizza with all the fixings that isn’t expensive? If yes, then WOW, do I have a place to recommend to you.

Pan Y Vino in Downtown Dunedin is a brick oven pizza and wine bar with a Mediterranean influence. Their pizzas are made to order and they have plenty of gluten free and vegan options as well (that makes me happy) ????? All pizzas are one size which makes ordering easy peasy… Choose from the many many toppings that they as well. Check out their FB page HERE. My personal Fav on the menu is the mediterranean style, vegan style, gourmet pizza.

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with low lighting and window seating to view the passer-bys on Main Street downtown. It’s location is right downtown, smack in the middle of all that Dunedin, FL has to offer. If you haven’t been, I would suggest stopping in for a wonderful experience and great food!

Last Friday evening I was SO feeling like I wanted pizza for dinner! Do you ever just get a taste for something specific like that?

I got on my phone and started searching for something different, somewhere I haven’t been AND because I’m vegan, I naturally wanted to find a place that offered vegan options at least.

WELL….. I happened upon a small, quaint little pizza shop in Ozona that was simply fabulous! I couldn’t believe the vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options that they offered. In fact, there were more gluten free, vegan options that NON vegan options on their menu. I was also surprised that they have been in business for 11 years and this was my first time trying them.

The very first thing I had to try on the menu were their vegan garlic knots that were absolutely amazing. The pizza was made to order (which took a little while), but just knowing it was being freshly made made it worth the wait.

I highly recommend trying out Ozona Pizza; you can pick-up, eat-in and they also deliver locally. Not to mention that the town of Ozona is super cool all in itself.

When I’m feeling social and by myself, Grillsmith is my favorite go-to to grab a bite to eat (lunch or dinner). Their menu offers a variety of American style food including a large selection of chicken, steak and fish dishes, flatbreads, appetizers and salads.

My favorite is the tuscan kale and pear salad. WOW! Is it Yummy!… For me, I order it minus the bacon bits because I do my best to stick to a plant based diet only. There is something for everyone.

The Countryside location recently renovated the decor and it now has a trendy, sleek vibe that is very inviting. I personally love to post up at the bar to strike up conversation with other patrons or the bartender.

If you haven’t been, I suggest trying it out. You won’t be disappointed….

One of my long time favorites was a little place tucked away in a plaza with a gas station by the name of Consciousness Blossom. Everything on their menu was either vegetarian or vegan.

Well…… Consciousness eventually sold but took great pride to sell to a couple that would continue to offer their popular menu items like “neat loaf” and “the joy burger”. The new restaurant is THE GREEN TABLE and…… oh man, I like it better now than I did before.

They offer the same great popular items from the old place and also offer new, trending items daily. One of my current favorites, for example, is the “MACK STACK”, which is their version of the McDonald’s Big Mack BUT totally vegan. It is out of this world.

I’m always seeking out new restaurants to explore in our area, especially those that offer vegan selections!

Well……. I happened upon a new place that opened not that long ago in Safety Harbor, FL. and….. WOW! I was taken back (literally by the experience and in time). They specialize in the craft drinks from the prohibition era, hence the name “Gigglewaters”, which refers to what you would ask for if you ordered an alcoholic drink at a bar in the 1920’s.

The variety of food on the menu offers something for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan. My favorite is the VEGAN impossible burger. Yah!!

To top it off, this little gem of a restaurant has an on-premise movie theater that shows the classics. You know the type of movies that you can see over and over and over again? YEP! Those are the ones they show in an intimate setting. To boot, their menu offers a variety of seasoned popcorn to enjoy while watching the show.

If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend giving a visit to Gigglewaters ?????????

Clear Sky now has three locations in the Clearwater area (one on Clearwater Beach, one in Dunedin and one in downtown Clearwater). BY FAR… my favorite is the one in downtown Clearwater.

They offer 3 dining areas with different ambience.  ONE is outside the front entrance, curb side, mimicking a quaint European outdoor cafe in the city. TWO is inside the back entrance giving a feel of being outdoors with loud acoustics, tile floors and running fountains. THREE and my fav is the in between situated around a long bar and tables that nestle in rows against the bar giving it a feel of coziness and winter.

Their food is awesome and delicious with such items as PB&J Brussel sprouts. While it sounds like it might be weird, I can only say that you have to try it to understand the melting of flavors that this combo brings out.

If you are local and haven’t been there, I would highly recommend that you plan an evening out to Clear Sky on Cleveland!

They offer a smorgasbord of amazing raw vegan food. It doesn’t matter if you are a die-hard vegan or a carnivore at heart, their food will be sure to sweeten your palate. I make sure to hit this HOT SPOT at least one time a week.

The owner is extremely knowledgeable on natural remedies to our everyday ailments (joint pain, stomach upset, acid reflex, rot gut and more) in the form of …. wait for it…… the food we eat every single day! Their menu consists of smoothies, wraps, salads, soups and even vegan pizza options. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would highly suggest it. Your body will THANK YOU!
